So I get these desires to craft specific playlists that serve some kind of function in my life. This one is about dancing like nobody is watching. Because sometimes I want nothing more than to move to the music.
Songs For Sorrow
I've needed to really fight the narrative of 'boys don't cry'. I think I'm well on my way to throwing this phrase in the trash. Crying is one of the bravest things a human can do, and wow does it ever feel like a cleanse. Once I make it through the crucible of pain that sits between the tears and the emotion, the floodwaters that flow always bring me the sense of peace I was missing.

"With lyrical hooks and captivating rhythms using anything from chains, animal bones, milk cans, to suitcases; at bowling alleys or in bathrooms, these Vancouver Island indie rockers are redefining versatility." That one time I was in a band with Reid Williams, Andrew Wilson, Levi Lawson and Kailo Mills. Eventually I had to step back but was more than covered when Kailo took on the sticks and skins full time. I had a second house on the property my ex and I owned and I turned it into a rehearsal space/recording studio. What a wild time this was, good choices and bad.
