Mankind Project of BC

Served for 10 years on the board (8 as Treasurer) for a non-profit men’s wellness organization, contributing to financial oversight and strategic planning for leadership and personal development programs. Regular leadership rolls in flagship experiential weekends since 2012. Planning and execution of multiple next level training events.

Key Achievements:

• Transitioned and streamlined financial record keeping to a fully digital cloud system.
• Analyzed and rewrote Chart of Accounts to eliminate redundancy and provide accurate financial reporting
• Received the Manny-Allenby award for outstanding contribution to the Mankind Project BC Community
• Key development of MOS (Men of Service - Food production) protocol and culture as MOS King in multiple flagship events with up to 120 participants.
• Over 5000 volunteer hours donated.

YMAW - Young Men's Adventure Weekend

Program volunteer for non-profit young men's wellness organization.

Key Achievements:

• S1 (Second in command) program lead for 2025 YMAW event
• Head chef and kitchen lead for multiple events with up to 100 participants.
• Over 600 volunteer hours donated.

The Rock Cod Cafe

Owned and operated a high-volume, 100% sustainable seafood restaurant. Managed all facets of the business including operations, finance, HR, menu development, and community relations.

Key Achievements:

• Grew annual revenues to $1.5 million.
• Featured on the Food Network show "You Gotta’ Eat Here" in 2009.
• Pioneered a 100% sustainable seafood menu in partnership with the Ocean Wise program.
• Achieved industry-leading staff retention, with 15 staff members employed from 7 to 15 years.
• Maintained an industry-leading WorkSafeBC risk rating with 1 or less incidents per year through a commitment to employee safety.

CIVEO / Horizon North / PTI

Held various progressive management roles, overseeing day-to-day operations of remote turnkey camp and catering services for up to 500 workers in the oil and gas sector.

Key Achievements:

• Oversaw day-to-day operation and administration of up to 22 remote sites.
• Developed cost-analysis and grocery ordering systems to reduce waste and improve efficiency, resulting in annual cost savings of over $100,000.
• Successfully managed one of the first major contracts with Husky Energy, laying groundwork for a multi-million dollar partnership.
• Key role in strategic planning that led to over $10 million dollars in new investment in the Open Camp division.
• Developed and implemented the Detail Profile System for Open Camp asset tracking, vastly improving efficiency and accuracy of asset management in the Alberta and BC oilfields.
