We are the Architect of our Suffering
"Through the process of clearing, we get an opportunity to find out why we became attached (ie: charged, or triggered) in the first place. It’s typically because a thing the person did (or said), or didn’t do (or didn’t say), reminds us of something unresolved from our past."
A tool was introduced to me a long time ago through the Mankind Project called clearing. We use clearings when we have a charge (it could also be called a trigger). It’s an experience where another person acts in a certain way and we become attached to it, usually in a negative sense. The gateway emotion to that attachment is often anger.
Through the process of clearing, we get an opportunity to find out why we became attached (ie: charged, or triggered) in the first place. It’s typically because a thing the person did (or said), or didn’t do (or didn’t say), reminds us of something unresolved from our past. My experience 100% of the time is that through participating in this process, the person needing to clear realizes that their anger has nothing to do with the person they are doing the clearing with, and it alchemizes separation into connection.
The beauty of our psyche is that we will ALWAYS find our unresolved issues in the people and places around us. This is because the end game for the I AM that resides in each of us is wholeness and connection, and anything that prevents it will come up to meet us, over and over again, until we heal it.
