Bone Carvings

I had a run where I really got into carving bone pendants. I went through the whole luthier process from going to the local butcher to get bovine thigh bones, cleaned them, boiled them, cleaned them so more, soaked them in solutions to defat them, left them in the sun to bleach and cure, then cut them into blanks to carve with a dremel-like tool. Carving them was loud and dusty and surprisingly difficult. I really liked the end result, though. I'll probably come back to this at some point.
